Thrombophilia Awareness Project

Thrombophilia Awareness Project (TAP) was created to provide resources, information, and support to persons affected by thrombophilia. TAP is a federally registered 501c3 non-profit, incorporated in California.

We are constantly working to build the organization - presently we are a small board of directors, with all members affected by clotting disorders.

One is not, however, required to have thrombophilia to be a board member of TAP. Affected or not, you must simply have the desire to help persons affected by thrombophilia, and some time to commit to doing so.

Volunteers wishing to help may do so whether or not they intend to join the board of directors - we are always looking for enthusiastic individuals. If you are interested in working with us, please send email to Deborah Okner Smith.

Our first project was:
  • Providing discounts to home INR testing machines. If you click on the recently diagnosed section the information regarding home INR testing machines shows the discount that is available
The Thrombophilia Awareness Project is a 501c3 charitable organization. Contributions to our organization keep this webpage and mailing forum running!
